A close call in goals (again) but Matt saved the day!
Gemma and I played with Shaes I-POD.
Matt got knocked out in the last 5 minutes saving a goal.
Mummy said it will look and feel worse tomorrow but HE IS OK DARLENE!!! xHello Family,
Matt played his first A grade soccer for the year with his new team Port Darwin. He has moved to a much better team and they certainly played a lot better then the old one. Gemma, Lisa, Mummy, Shae and me all went to watch. Poor Daddy, he had to work tonight but he was hoping to watch from the Fire Station as it is right next door, unfortunetly there was a big car accident and he was gone the whole time. Matt played a really good game and his team were leading right up until the last minutes when Matt got knocked out saving a goal. They thought he may have broken his nose but we think its ok. The other team (who Mummy said were thugs), scored in the dying minutes of the game as Port Darwin had to use a replacement goalie. Mummy said they wouldn't have scored if Matt was on the field and we all agreed but it was a good game. Can't wait until next week!

well Lj, That is my boy he puts all his body on the line. I pleased you had a good time with your McDondals, you look after him he is going to be sore for a while and he will have a black face as well . Lol Darlene worried mum in Tassie
You need to look after everyone LJ. Give my love to Matt - hope his face gets better quick. Tell him I will come and cook him my roast chicken in October.
You certainly keep getting around. I suppose I will see you playing soccer soon too?
