We went travelling straight away - from Christchurch to an overnight stay in Hokitika and then on to Wanaka. We started to see snow (Daddys first snow) fairly quickly - do you see that we had to go through the mountain - it was a bit scary in our big cars but lots of fun. We stopped and did a hike to the Franz Joseph Glacier - it was a massive ice river that is skrinking due to climate change. We then travelled on to Milford Sound for a boat cruise and a visit with some seals!
